Becoming Globally Friendly is a consultation designed to address perhaps the biggest challenge with which traditional mission organizations currently wrestle: knowing how to effectively engage the majority world missions movement. The Lord has given much fruit from years of sacrificial service evidenced by the transformation of a mission field into a mission force. However, few anticipated the impact and complications this would bring North American sending organizations as they look for ways to work with and alongside of this new mission force.
This gathering will pull together decision makers from many key international missions who are seeking to adapt to the new reality of global missions where missionaries come from countries that were, until recently, considered mission fields. It seems that everyone is asking, “How can we change our organization so it is friendly to the new global reality?”
